Visit by the French Consul General

On Monday, 14.03.2022, the French Consul General, Dr. Ilde Gorguet, visited the Wine Campus Neustadt. Her schedule included a tour of the institutes and laboratories, an Enology lecture with students on the German-French Master's degree course in Viticulture & Enology and a wine tasting. During her visit, Ms. Gorguet emphasized the binational character of the Master's course, which "builds bridges between peoples", which is all the more important as war has returned to Europe.

In cooperation with the Université de Haute-Alsace in Colmar (France), the Wine Campus Neustadt offers the dual Master's degree in Viticulture & Enology (M.Sc.). The double degree program is designed as a practical course of study with innovative Course language: English. It is aimed at Bachelor of Science graduates who wish to qualify for management positions in the international wine industry. The course can be completed full-time or integrated into a career.

The main language of instruction is German. Intensive language tuition in the first semester prepares students for the semester in Colmar.

The Master of Viticulture & Enology is part of the network of the Franco-German University (DFH) and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) as part of the Interreg Upper Rhine program.
