Congratulations to Marcel Hensel! He was awarded the Best Student Presentation Award 2023 by the American Society of Enology and Viticulture (ASEV) last week. The ASEV presents this award annually to doctoral students who give outstanding presentations at the ASEV National Conference. Marcel Hensel is doing his PhD on "Photometric wine color measurement: new applications based on machine learning for wine quality management" on the AIF project "Development of smartphone-based analysis systems for process control in winemaking", which we are conducting together with Prof. Roland Ulber, Bioprocess Engineering, RPTU.
