The dual study program depends on its training companies. Without the practical training in the wineries, it would be impossible for students to complete two degrees in four years.
The Wine Campus Neustadt has a strong backbone with over 600 cooperating companies worldwide. The numerous training partners not only ensure the dual character of the degree program, but also the diversity of content. From the growing conditions to the grape varieties to the products - more than in other sectors, diversity is a decisive parameter for success in viticulture.
How do I become a partner business of the Wine Campus?
In principle, all recognized training companies that train winemakers can offer an apprenticeship position as part of the degree program.
The prerequisite for this is a one-time cooperation agreement that they enter into with the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society. As a partner company, they are then authorized to train students in the dual degree program in Viticulture & Enology.
The framework agreement (cooperation agreement) applies regardless of whether you provide an apprenticeship position or not. Businesses can decide at any time whether and how many students they will accept as part of the dual degree program.
Cooperatives in the Training Network
Winegrowers’ cooperatives in Rhineland-Palatinate can train students in the dual degree program in cooperation with a winegrowing business, thereby actively promoting the next generation of professionals. To this end, agreements are established between the winegrowers’ cooperative, the winegrowing business, and the trainee. If you’d like to participate in the “Cooperatives in the Training Network ” program, please feel free to contact us. We’ll assist you with the necessary paperwork and coordination with the LWK.

The perfect match - How does the Apprenticeship Finder work?
The aim of the Apprenticeship Finder is to bring together the right winegrowing companies with the right applicants simply, quickly and securely. Prospective students can enter their applicant profile and present their skills, previous knowledge and interests. The registered training partners can then search for suitable candidates from the pool of applicants and contact them conveniently via the portal.
