Your way to your destination

The Viticulture and Enology Master's degree program offers two study options tailored to the individual backgrounds and goals of students: the International Double Degree ( A), which enables a close connection between studies and career, and the Applied Science Program (B), which is aimed at graduates of science and engineering courses.

International Double Degree (A): This study option is specifically designed for Bachelor graduates* in Viticulture and Enology who wish to gain practical experience in a company in the wine industry and deepen their knowledge through interdisciplinary approaches. The cooperation with the Université de Haute-Alsace in Colmar (France) enables students to gain international experience in the second year of their studies and simultaneously acquire a double degree. While the first year of study takes place at the Wine Campus Neustadt, students spend the second year in France and complete their Master's thesis in the company.

The Applied Science Program (B) is open to all bachelor's graduates from the natural sciences or engineering who wish to expand their knowledge in the field of viticulture and Enology and gain practical experience. The first year of the program takes place at the Wine Campus Neustadt and includes practice-oriented learning content that is closely linked to the university's own winery. In the third semester, students complete a practical phase at a scientific institution in Germany or abroad before completing their Master's thesis in the fourth semester.
