Production II - Flavors of the World
The goal of this module is to explain the complex relationship between production techniques, product development, and consumer research. Which production techniques will help me achieve which results? What factors should be considered in product development? How do I professionally involve my (potential) customers? These and other questions form the core of the module.
The module looks beyond the wine industry and also covers the styles of international beers and spirits.
Through tastings of international products, participants learn to evaluate the sensory effects of various winemaking, distillation, and brewing processes and to analyze the specific contribution of individual steps and processes. Participants will be equipped to evaluate specific products and determine whether they fit within the specific framework of a particular style.
