Master thesis
The master’s thesis is a research project that culminates in a substantial piece of work involving the original collection or analysis of data and/or findings. Elements of the master’s thesis include a comprehensive analysis of the relevant literature, the design of a research study, the collection and analysis of data, and a discussion of the results. In addition, it presents a synthesis and application of the literature on a given topic and includes a critical evaluation of empirical studies on that topic.
