The dual study program thrives on its training companies. They are the backbone of a successful degree course. Without the practical training in the wineries, it would be impossible for students to complete two degrees in four years.
The Wine Campus Neustadt has a strong backbone with over 600 cooperating companies worldwide. The numerous training partners not only ensure the dual nature of the course, but also the diversity of content. From the growing conditions to the grape varieties to the products - more than in other sectors, diversity is a decisive parameter for success in viticulture.
How do I become a training company at the Wine Campus?
In principle, all recognized training companies that train winegrowers can provide a training place as part of the course.
The prerequisite for this is a cooperation agreement, which they conclude once with the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society. As a cooperation company, they are then entitled to train students on the dual degree course in viticulture & Enology.
The framework agreement (cooperation agreement) applies regardless of whether you provide a training place or not. Companies can decide for themselves at any time whether and how many students they want to take on as part of the dual study program.
Cooperatives in the training network
Winegrowers' cooperatives in Rhineland-Palatinate can cooperate with a winegrowing business to train students in the dual study program and thus actively promote young talent. To this end, agreements are made between the winegrowers' cooperative, the winery and the trainee. If you would like to participate in the Cooperatives in the Training Network program, please contact us. We will support you in preparing the formalities and coordinating with the LWK.

The perfect match - How does the Apprenticeship Finder work?
The Apprenticeship Finder aims to bring together the right winegrowing companies with the right student applicants quickly, easily and securely. Prospective students can enter their applicant profile and present their skills, previous knowledge and interests. The registered training partners can then search for suitable candidates from the pool of applicants and contact them conveniently via the portal.
