The aim of this module is to convey the complex relationship between production techniques, product development and consumer research. Which production techniques can I use to achieve which results? What factors need to be considered in product development? How do I involve my (potential) customers professionally? These and other questions form the core of the module.

The focus extends beyond the wine industry and also includes the styles of international beers and spirits.

Based on tastings of international products , participants learn to evaluate the sensory effects of different winemaking/distillation/brewing processes and to analyze the specific contribution of individual steps and processes. Participants will be able to evaluate certain products and assess whether they fit into the specific framework of a particular style.
